05. What’s the Difference Between the SLR Lounge Presets and These?
The SLR Lounge Preset System was designed to give Lightroom users a broad set of tools for the creation of custom presets. It’s a powerful educational system designed to be stacked and layered to create a large variety of looks and effects. In addition, the SLR Lounge Preset System develop presets can be used with Visual Flow Development Tools (and other presets) without issue. If you are a Visual Flow user, we’d recommend removing the SLR Lounge Preset System brushes and instead, using the Visual Flow Retouching Kit (which come with the installer) as it is a more comprehensive and powerful system for Lightroom retouching.
Visual Flow is a completely new endeavor based around a patent-pending system for what we call “Lighting Condition-Based Development.” Visual Flow Development Tools are designed to provide the most powerful 1-click development solutions and retouching tools for enthusiasts and professional photographers alike. Along with our partners at DVLOP, our goal is to create an image processing system that’s as close to AI-level intelligence as possible. Our goal is to create multiple looks that will be designed as “packs” with each pack having their own set of presets for Lighting Condition-Based Development that makes image processing as simple as picking the preset that matches the lighting condition for the image. As mentioned above, while significantly more advanced, the Visual Flow Retouching Kit has similarities in name and structure to the SLR Lounge Preset System brushes. For that reason, please remove your SLR Lounge Preset System Local Adjustment Presets before installing Visual Flow Retouching Kit so that your brush organization is intact.
