The Interview with Taylor Kinzie
We interviewed Taylor to find out how she uses the Visual Flow Preset System Pastel Pack to dial-in a consistent and effortless filmic look. Below you’ll see examples of her RAW straight out of camera images and how they look with the Visual Flow Pastel Pack presets applied.
How would you describe your editing style in one word?
“Clean.”
How long do you typically spend editing a single image?
“The length of time I spend on a single image depends on the image itself. My image time will typically range from 30 seconds to 2 minutes.”
Which is your favorite Visual Flow preset and why?
“I love all of the presets in the Pastel Pack because they help me achieve the bright and airy look I strive for in my edits.”
Where do you draw your editing inspiration from?
“I love the soft look of film but the crispness of digital. I typically draw inspiration from my favorite film photographers (Elizabeth Messina, KT Merry, Jose Villa) and apply my own special ingredients so each image feels authentically mine. “
