HOW IT STARTED
Tired of Presets That Failed in Difficult Light
Most presets look great in perfect conditions. But wedding and portrait photographers don't shoot in perfect conditions. Tungsten reception floors, backlit ceremonies, mixed window light — these are the moments that matter most, and the moments where generic presets fall apart.
Visual Flow was built to solve that problem. Instead of organizing presets by mood or style, we built them around how light actually behaves. Every preset in every pack is calibrated to a specific lighting condition, so one click gets you a consistent, professional result regardless of the scene.
To make it work across camera brands, we partnered with DVLOP to build a unified color engine — the same color science powering every Visual Flow pack, whether you're shooting Sony, Canon, or Nikon.

Pye is the co-founder of Lin and Jirsa Photography, one of the most decorated wedding studios in Southern California, shooting over 200 sessions a year for more than 15 years. He's also co-founder of SLR Lounge, one of the world's leading photography education platforms, reaching over 50,000 photographers monthly.
Visual Flow wasn't a product conceived in a boardroom — it was built out of a genuine workflow problem Pye encountered on real shoots, refined across thousands of weddings, and eventually shared with the broader photography community.
