Before and After Images
The Interview with Elizabeth Lloyd
We interviewed her to find out how she uses the Visual Flow Preset System to speed ur her Lightroom workflow and create a consistent aesthetic for her portfolio. Below you’ll see examples of her RAW straight out of camera images and how they look with the Visual Flow Modern Pack presets applied.
How did you establish and define your editing style?
“I really want to honor my couples & capture their true authentic connection & unconditional love they have for each other. I look to nature, I love rich tones, crispy white clean. I want my skintones to have a warm loving glow.”
How do you know when you are completely done editing an image?
“I look at the image & ask, ‘would this look amazing as a large canvas on the wall? Would this bring joy to my couple?” When I feel like I honored my couple in the image, that’s when I know it’s complete.”
How has the Visual Flow Preset system changed your workflow?
“Let me just say Visual flow brushes are EVERYTHING! They have made my editing go smoothly & quickly.”
Where do you draw your editing inspiration from?
“I draw my inspiration from classical art, I think in oil paintings from the romanticism period. I love emotionally rich & passionate images with intensity & drama. I love texture and rich warm tones with depth.”
What advice would you give someone wanting to learn how to edit in Lightroom?
“Explore your style and the feeling you are wanting to express in your editing. You can learn so much from SLR Lounge, and VF presets truly are incredible for editing. As always spending time refining your craft is the best way to deliver amazing edits.”
